# Connect RShift MCP in ChatGPT

Open the public **RShift Sites GPT**, or type `@RShift Sites` in a regular ChatGPT web conversation and send the page request. The first action shows a sign-in button. Sign in, choose the workspace on the authorization screen, and approve the connection.

For the complete RShift MCP surface, open **Plugins** in ChatGPT Work, find **RShift Sites**, select the plus button, and complete RShift OAuth. Choose the workspace on the authorization screen; do not add a workspace name to the MCP URL.

## Development flow

Use this only when developer mode and custom MCP apps are enabled by your ChatGPT workspace admin.

1. Enable MCP in RShift.
2. Add `https://mcp.rshift.com/mcp` as the remote MCP URL.
3. Complete sign-in and choose the workspace.
4. Review the tools allowed by the ChatGPT workspace before enabling the app.

Do not paste OAuth authorization codes, access tokens, customer data, or tool outputs into conversations or Support messages.
