# Approvals

Approvals put a human decision in front of actions that are expensive or hard to undo: publishing to a live account, changing a budget, or running a campaign.

## When to require approval

- Content that goes to a public brand account.
- Anything that changes spend.
- Actions a new team member should not do alone.

Approvers see the exact content and target before they approve. RShift records who approved what and when.
