# Findings and remediation

A finding is a durable, deduplicated issue or opportunity with severity, evidence, a recommendation, and the target URL.

## Remediation flow

1. Open a finding and read the evidence.
2. Create a change on the connected Sites project.
3. RShift creates a revision-checked source change.
4. Review it in the editor and preview it.
5. Publish through the normal flow.

RShift never publishes a remediation directly. A change is reviewed and published like any other edit.
